TVS ILP to invest ₹10 billion in Tamil Nadu
TVS ILP has signed a ₹10 billion MoU with the Tamil Nadu government to develop industrial and logistics projects across the state, with the investment expected to create around 1,500 jobs.
TVS Industrial & Logistics Parks (TVS ILP), a Grade-A industrial and warehousing developer, has signed a ₹10 billion Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Tamil Nadu to develop upcoming projects across the state.
The proposed investment is expected to create around 1,500 jobs while strengthening Tamil Nadu’s industrial and logistics infrastructure.
The projects are aimed at supporting businesses and supply chains across the state by expanding modern warehousing and logistics capacity.
The investment further supports Tamil Nadu’s efforts to develop its industrial ecosystem and strengthen logistics infrastructure to meet growing demand from businesses and supply chain operators.
The MoU was signed during the VETTRI Tamil Nadu Investment Conclave 2026, in the presence of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Thiru C. Joseph Vijay and Industries, Investment Promotion and Commerce Minister Selvi S. Keerthana. The conclave featured investment commitments across various sectors and districts, highlighting the state’s focus on accelerating industrial growth and employment.
Rising industrial activity across Tamil Nadu is driving demand for modern, strategically located logistics and industrial infrastructure. As the state targets a $1.5 trillion economy by 2036, the expansion of Grade-A industrial and logistics parks is expected to support new capacity, improve supply-chain efficiency and facilitate business growth across emerging industrial hubs.
Commenting on the development, Dr. Ramnath Subramaniam, Joint Managing Director, TVS Industrial & Logistics Parks, said, “Tamil Nadu has been a key market for TVS ILP, with 10 industrial and logistics parks already established in the state, serving leading brands across e-commerce, automobile, FMCG and FMCD. Our ₹10 billion investment reflects the opportunities we see emerging across the state and our intent to be a tech-enabled infrastructure partner to businesses expanding their operations here. We will continue to focus on developing assets that meet global standards while remaining responsive to the evolving requirements of occupiers. Through this approach, we aim to support businesses as they expand and contribute to the next phase of industrial growth across the state.”
The investment strengthens TVS ILP’s footprint in Tamil Nadu and supports its broader strategy of expanding its portfolio across high-growth industrial and logistics markets.
