Allcargo Logistics cuts month-end financial close time by 30%
The company has moved more than 4,000 users and over 700 operating units onto a single platform to automate finance and procurement processes.
Allcargo Logistics has reduced its month-end financial closing time by 30% after adopting Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications to automate its finance processes and improve operational visibility.
The company has standardised its core business processes on a single integrated platform, reducing manual work and strengthening governance and controls.
Founded in 1993, Allcargo Logistics operates more than 700 facilities in India and serves customers across industries, including e-commerce, automobiles and pharmaceuticals. To support its growth, the company moved from its legacy on-premises systems to a cloud platform designed to use artificial intelligence (AI) to automate routine processes, provide real-time visibility and strengthen controls.
With Oracle Fusion Applications for finance, Allcargo Logistics has brought more than 4,000 users and over 700 operating units onto a single integrated platform.
“Digital transformation is central to our long-term growth strategy and our commitment to operational excellence,” said Sanjay Khiyani, Chief Information Officer, Allcargo Logistics.
He said the platform provides a foundation for using AI to simplify work, improve visibility and support the company's continued growth.
Using Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Allcargo Logistics has standardised and automated finance processes across its operations. This has helped teams reduce time spent on manual tasks, strengthen controls and improve financial reporting.
Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement, which is part of Oracle Cloud ERP, has also helped the company automate end-to-end procurement processes and provide teams with a consistent view of purchasing activity across its operations.
Shailesh Singla, Vice President, Cloud Applications, Oracle India, said logistics providers need applications that can take on more of the work required to keep operations moving as customer expectations rise and supply chains become more dynamic.
He said Oracle's AI and Fusion Agentic Applications are helping Allcargo Logistics automate routine tasks, allowing its teams to spend less time managing processes and more time making decisions and setting priorities.
The implementation was managed by Grant Thornton Bharat, an Oracle PartnerNetwork partner.
