Snowman Logistics to open 10,000-pallet cold storage in Hyderabad
The facility will operate under a built-to-suit model and expand the company's cold chain network with capacity for products requiring temperatures from -25°C to +20°C.
Snowman Logistics will establish a new 10,000-pallet temperature-controlled warehouse in Hyderabad under an asset-light built-to-suit (BTS) model. Construction has started and the facility is expected to become operational by the second quarter of next year.
The warehouse will support temperatures ranging from -25°C to +20°C. It is located along the NH-44 corridor in Hyderabad's northern logistics belt, where demand for temperature-controlled storage has been growing due to the expansion of the seafood, ice cream, quick-service restaurant, fruits and vegetables, and pharmaceutical sectors.
Ishaan Gupta, Director, Snowman Logistics, said Hyderabad is an important market for the company. He said the existing capacity of 6,800 pallets, along with the new 10,000-pallet facility, will strengthen the company's presence across emerging consumption centres in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. He added that the location offers strong connectivity for efficient regional distribution.
Snowman Logistics said the expansion supports its plan to strengthen its cold chain network across key consumption and production hubs. The company currently has a storage capacity of 154,319 pallets across 21 cities, and the Hyderabad facility marks another step in its expansion.
