Porter handles Zypp Electric’s repair, spare parts logistics

The implementation of a 15-minute window for faulty vehicle pickups by Porter Enterprise has reduced operational delays for Zypp Electric.

EV-as-a-Service platform Zypp Electric announced joining hands with intra-city and inter-city logistics company Porter Enterprise for vehicle repair and spare parts logistics solutions.

“With Porter's brand purpose of "moving a billion dreams, one delivery at a time," and Zypp Electric's mission to achieve 100% sustainability in last-mile delivery through EVs by 2028, a seamless integration has emerged,” reads the release.

“Twelve months ago, Porter Enterprise welcomed Zypp Electric aboard to handle its logistics solutions. Aligned with its green initiatives, Zypp was resolute in enhancing operational efficiency and minimizing logistical hassles."

Porter Enterprise swiftly addressed these objectives. Utilizing its extensive presence across 20+ cities in India and its technology-driven enterprise solutions, Porter Enterprise has substantially optimised logistics, ensuring reliability and convenience for Zypp. The implementation of a 15-minute window for faulty vehicle pickups has notably reduced operational delays.

Zypp Electric's business model is to make carbon-free last-mile delivery for local merchants from e-commerce giants to delivery executives and thereby reduce delivery cost and pollution on an asset-light model. The company currently delivers groceries, medicines, food, and e-commerce packages from through their fully automated IoT and AI-enabled scooters.
