Panattoni appoints Abhilash Pasupuleti as COO for India Growth
The former IndoSpace executive will oversee operations as the developer expands its industrial and logistics portfolio across Delhi-NCR, Kochi and Hyderabad.
Panattoni has appointed Abhilash Pasupuleti as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for India as the industrial real estate developer accelerates its expansion across key industrial and logistics markets in the country.
The appointment comes as the company continues to grow its presence in India and expand its development portfolio. In his new role, Pasupuleti will oversee operations across Panattoni’s projects and work closely with the leadership team to support strategic growth plans, operational performance and the delivery of customer-focused, specialised, technology-driven and ESG-compliant infrastructure.
Panattoni has recently strengthened its footprint in India through projects including Panattoni Park NH71 in Delhi-NCR, a logistics park in Kochi and a specialised aerospace-grade manufacturing hub in Hyderabad.
Pasupuleti brings more than 16 years of experience in the real estate sector, covering investments, asset management, capital markets and fundraising. Before joining Panattoni, he served as Executive Director and Head of Asset Management at IndoSpace, where he managed development funds and a core investment vehicle with assets under management of around $3 billion.
During his career, he has gained experience in investment strategy, portfolio management, investor relations and operational leadership. He has also worked with JP Morgan Chase, Deloitte Financial Advisory Services and Citi Markets.
Pasupuleti holds an MBA in Finance and a B.Tech in Electronics and Communications Engineering. He will take charge of operations across Panattoni’s growing portfolio in India and support the delivery of industrial assets across new markets. His experience is expected to support projects such as specialised facilities, including the company’s climate-controlled aerospace manufacturing facility in Hyderabad.
Norbert Sumisławski, Interim Managing Director India and Managing Director International Project Management at Panattoni, said the appointment comes during a period of growth for the company in India. He said Pasupuleti’s experience in industrial real estate, investments and asset management would support the company’s plans to expand its platform and deliver developments for customers.
Robert Dobrzycki, CEO and Co-Owner Europe, UK, Middle East and India at Panattoni, said India remains an important growth market for logistics and industrial real estate. He said the appointment reflects the company’s long-term commitment to the country and will help strengthen its local leadership and execution capabilities.
Pasupuleti said Panattoni has built a strong global reputation in industrial and logistics real estate and that he was pleased to join the company during its growth phase in India. He added that the country offers opportunities across logistics, manufacturing and industrial infrastructure, and that he looks forward to supporting the company’s expansion plans.
