CMA CGM to launch new service connecting Bangladesh, India, Gulf
CMA CGM calls it the fastest and only direct service connecting Bangladesh to the Gulf markets.
Shipping giant CMA CGM announced its plan to launch BIGEX, a new weekly service connecting Bangladesh and India with the Gulf from April 5, 2023, with 3 vessels of 1,700 TEU capacity.
“Sea trade between the Indian subcontinent and Gulf countries has been instrumental in the development of what would later become one of the world’s most dynamic regions,” reads the service update.
CMA CGM calls it the fastest and only direct service connecting Bangladesh to the Gulf markets.
The service has that rotation as Chittagong, Colombo, Mangalore, Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Jebel Ali, Abu Dhabi, Chittagong with connection opportunities via Colombo, Jebel Ali, Abu Dhabi, Nhava Sheva and Mundra to Europe, Africa and America.
