OOCL launches Southeast Asia–India Subcontinent SIS service

OOCL launches SIS service linking Southeast Asia with India and Pakistan, improving regional shipping connectivity and efficiency.

Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) has announced the launch of its new Southeast Asia–Indian Subcontinent Service (SIS), its first dedicated service connecting Southeast Asia with the west coast of India and Pakistan.

The new service is scheduled to commence on 24 April 2026 and aims to provide a direct, efficient and reliable connection between Southeast Asia and the Indian Subcontinent.

The SIS will connect major ports in the region with the following rotation: Laem Chabang, Singapore, Port Klang, Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Karachi, and return via Port Klang and Singapore to Laem Chabang.

According to OOCL, the new service is designed to enhance regional connectivity and offer improved transport solutions for customers trading between Southeast Asia, India and Pakistan.
