Rapido launches last-mile service for offline & online businesses

June 23, 2020: Rapido, bike taxi startup, launched new last-mile delivery service Rapido Store for businesses in Bengaluru and Vijayawada.

June 23, 2020: Rapido, bike taxi startup, launched new last-mile delivery service Rapido Store for businesses in Bengaluru and Vijayawada.

While the startup aims to expand the service to other cities, it will help both online and offline businesses to deliver products to doorsteps. 

Aravind Sanka, co-founder, Rapido, said  "Rapido Store will give businesses and entrepreneurs an opportunity to maintain continuity and also increase sales by reaching out to new customers by leveraging Rapido’s extensive network. The service will allow these businesses to overcome manpower and mobility challenges by helping them deliver their orders and save time."

Rapid is now present in 100 Indian cities with 15 lakh registered riders. The company was founded in 2015 by Rishikesh SR, Pavan Guntupalli and Aravind Sanka. The company is supported by investing firms like Nexus, Westbridge Capital, Alibaba’s BAce Capital, Shunwei Capital and Integrated Capital.
