RapidShyp has launched Ayumi, an AI-driven delivery intelligence engine aimed at improving predictability across India’s e-commerce logistics networks. The platform is designed to support sellers with delivery forecasting, return risk assessment, and courier selection as order volumes and operational complexity continue to rise across fulfilment and last-mile networks.

Ayumi sits as a unified intelligence layer within the RapidShyp platform, analysing shipment data, courier signals, and delivery outcomes to offer delivery predictions with up to 99 per cent accuracy. The tool focuses on addressing operational pain points such as uncertain delivery timelines, high return-to-origin volumes, and reactive logistics decision-making that affect seller costs and customer experience.

A key component of the launch is Ayumi Predict, which focuses on identifying and preventing return-to-origin shipments before dispatch. The module analyses buyer behaviour, payment history, address quality, delivery difficulty, regional fulfilment trends, and historical outcomes to assess the probability of a return. By flagging high-risk orders early, sellers can intervene through address checks, verification calls, or payment mode changes, helping reduce avoidable shipment movement and associated costs.

Ravi Goel, CEO of RapidShyp, said, “Logistics has operated for too long on assumptions, delays, and reactive decisions. With Ayumi, RapidShyp is changing that by giving sellers real-time intelligence and precision-driven frameworks that bring predictability to deliveries. This innovation is expected to contribute to nearly 30% month-on-month growth while helping sellers achieve more reliable, efficient, and cost-effective shipping outcomes. Going forward, RapidShyp will continue to invest in advanced technologies to build a simpler, smarter, and more dependable logistics ecosystem for businesses at every stage.”

The platform also introduces Ayumi Promise, which focuses on improving Estimated Delivery Date accuracy. The engine evaluates courier lane performance, network loads, seasonal demand patterns, and historical delivery behaviour to generate delivery timelines that adjust dynamically, including during peak periods. This approach is aimed at reducing customer queries linked to shipment visibility and delivery uncertainty.

Courier allocation is addressed through Ayumi Select, which recommends carriers based on pin code level performance, lane reliability, courier stress indicators, sorting centre congestion, and consistency over time. Each recommendation is supported by a delivery probability score, allowing sellers to select carriers with a higher likelihood of first-attempt success.

Ayumi Sense adds a conversational interface to the platform, allowing sellers to access shipment insights, process orders, and clarify delivery details through chat or voice. The feature is intended to simplify day-to-day logistics decisions for both small teams and larger operations.

RapidShyp said Ayumi will be available within its existing zero-platform-fee model, extending AI-driven logistics tools to both growing direct-to-consumer brands and enterprise sellers. The launch builds on the company’s multi-courier network, pin code coverage, and analytics infrastructure, positioning predictive intelligence as a core layer within e-commerce fulfilment operations.
