WareIQ, an e-commerce fulfilment and logistics platform, has partnered with Human Mobile Devices (HMD), the maker of Nokia phones, to manage its direct-to-consumer fulfilment operations in India.
Under the partnership, WareIQ will support end-to-end D2C fulfilment for Nokia devices sold through HMD’s official website. This includes nationwide warehousing, order fulfilment, last-mile distribution, and returns processing, enabled through WareIQ’s distributed fulfilment network and integrated technology platform.
The collaboration aims to strengthen HMD’s direct-to-consumer footprint in India by enabling faster and more reliable deliveries. WareIQ’s regional inventory placement model will support same day and next day deliveries in key cities, while improving order processing times and reducing transit distances across the country.
An HMD spokesperson said, “We are excited to announce this partnership with WareIQ as our delivery partner for our D2C business. Their network across the country will surely help us increase our D2C footprint with a better consumer experience.”
Harsh Vaidya, Founder and CEO of WareIQ, said, “HMD is a globally recognised consumer electronics brand, and India is a strategic market for its direct-to-consumer growth. Our focus is on building fulfilment infrastructure that allows global brands to operate D2C at a national scale with speed, reliability, and operational control.”
The partnership reflects the growing importance of specialised fulfilment infrastructure as global brands expand their direct-to-consumer presence in India.
