IndoSpace, a fully integrated supply chain infrastructure services platform, announced on 25 of September, the launch of its new logistics park in Bhiwandi, Maharashtra. The 66-acre facility represents an expansion of the company's footprint in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR).

Upon completion, the project will see a total investment of US $57 million. It is designed to meet the dynamic needs of modern businesses by offering a combination of ready-to-move-in facilities and customisable build-to-suit (BTS) options.

According to an official press release, the new warehousing facility is strategically positioned to serve a wide range of high-growth sectors, including e-commerce, third-party logistics (3PL), FMCG, automotive, and electronics.

The IndoSpace Bhiwandi park has been designed to incorporate green spaces and infrastructure that align with top-tier ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) standards and certifications.

The press release further said that this launch is part of a broader investment strategy in the region. The company has already invested US $330 million to strengthen Maharashtra's infrastructure and logistics capabilities.

By expanding capacity in a key corridor of the MMR, the industrial and warehousing park is set to further enhance the country's overall supply chain ecosystem.

“The launch of our Bhiwandi park highlights IndoSpace’s role in expanding India’s supply chain backbone. As the country experiences shifts in consumption, manufacturing, and global trade linkages, the availability of reliable logistics infrastructure becomes critical,” said Anshuman Singh, MD & CEO, IndoSpace.

Beyond its commercial significance, the project is expected to deliver substantial benefits to the local community by generating significant employment opportunities in the surrounding area, reinforcing the economic linkages between infrastructure development and local prosperity.
