Allcargo opens 1.5 lakh sq ft warehouse for Swedish firm in Bengaluru

Allcargo Logistics Limited has launched a 1.5 lakh sq. ft. built-to-suit Grade A warehouse for a Swedish electrification company at Alur in Nelamangala near Bengaluru. The facility, developed under Allcargo Supply Chain Private Limited (ASCPL), will handle storage, distribution, and management of electrical components. It will be the Swedish company’s largest warehouse in India and serve as a consolidated distribution centre.

The facility is designed with multi-tier shelving, heavy-duty racking, on-floor storage, reach trucks, conveyors, and battery-operated pallet trucks to optimise goods movement. It is integrated with SAP systems and advanced scanning technology. Safety measures include firefighting equipment, hydrant lines, and sprinkler systems, while the structure has been designed to be energy efficient.

ASCPL manages more than 7.5 million sq. ft of warehousing space across over 80 locations in India. The company serves industries through technology-enabled operations and infrastructure, with expansion focused on major metro markets.

Allcargo Logistics Limited, part of the Allcargo Group, operates globally under the ECU Worldwide network and has businesses in express logistics, contract logistics, and terminals. The group is currently implementing a scheme of arrangement to restructure its international and domestic operations.
