Turkish Cargo deploys software robots Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta

September 25, 2020: Turkish Cargo has digitalized its business processes, by integrating the virtual workforce Robotic Process Automation (RPA) or software robots, namely Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and Delta that reduces the error rate at its business processes as well as the costs while improving the employee productivity and the speed of the operation

Bravo will be in charge of the spot rate approvals, Charlie will be in charge of checking the mail rate, designations and duplications thereof, Delta will be in charge of the cargo booking.

September 25, 2020: Turkish Cargo has digitalized its business processes, by integrating the virtual workforce Robotic Process Automation (RPA) or software robots, namely Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and Delta that reduces the error rate at its business processes as well as the costs while improving the employee productivity and the speed of the operation and saving.

Bravo will be in charge of the spot rate approvals, Charlie will be in charge of checking the mail rate, designations and duplications thereof, Delta will be in charge of the cargo booking, whereas Alpha will enable the harmonic functioning of the other robots with each other.

Turkish Cargo will have the capacity to carry 4 million tonnes of cargo on yearly basis by making use of the state-of-the-art technology at the business processes it will carry out at SmartIST, its digitally equipped facility being constructed at the Istanbul Airport. SmartIST is being designed so as to be dominated by the industry 4.0, artificial intelligence technologies and digitalized processes.
