Air India SATS Airport Services (AISATS) has signed separate MoUs with Total Solutions and SpiceXpress and Logistics to explore and develop freighter operations at its Multi Modal Cargo Hub (MMCH) at Noida International Airport.
The MoUs were signed at the Air Cargo Forum India (ACFI) World Conclave 2026. The agreement with Total Solutions will explore freighter operations at the AISATS MMCH, while the agreement with SpiceXpress will focus on exploring and developing freighter operations at the hub.
The collaboration with SpiceXpress aims to lay the foundation for livestock freighter operations. The companies will use the hub's strategic location, infrastructure and digital capabilities to support faster and more efficient connectivity to domestic and international markets.
AISATS said the partnership with Total Solutions is another step towards expanding cargo capacity and connectivity as cargo activity at Noida International Airport gathers pace. It also aims to establish the MMCH as a leading freighter hub in the region.
The signings were attended by Bob Chi, Director, AISATS and CEO, APAC Gateway Services, SATS; Ramanathan Rajamani, CEO, AISATS; Sandeep Datta, Managing Director, Total Solutions Group; Salim Chaudhury, COO, AISATS; and other representatives and guests.
The MoUs are expected to support the development of freighter operations at the AISATS MMCH and create new opportunities for India's cargo ecosystem.
Earlier this month, AISATS signed an MoU with CONCOR Air to facilitate the movement of customs-cleared transhipment cargo from CONCOR’s Inland Container Depot (ICD) at Dadri to the AISATS integrated cargo terminal at Noida International Airport. The partnership aims to improve cargo movement between inland logistics networks and the airport and support smoother transfers across different modes of transport.
