Ajit Kumar Panda appointed Chairman and Managing Director of CONCOR

The Ministry of Railways has approved the appointment of Ajit Kumar Panda, Director (Project & Services) at Container Corporation of India (CONCOR), as Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of the company.

According to an exchange filing by CONCOR, the Competent Authority approved Panda's appointment through an order dated June 29, 2026. He will be appointed in the pay scale of ₹2,00,000-3,70,000 (IDA).

His tenure will begin from the date he assumes charge of the post, on or after August 1, 2026, and will continue until his superannuation on August 31, 2028, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

CONCOR said the required procedure for the appointment under the Companies Act, 2013 and the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 is being completed. The company added that the necessary disclosures will be filed with the stock exchanges within the stipulated time.
