TVS Infrastructure Trust has opened the expanded phase of its Tarkeshwar Industrial & Logistics Park in Visakhapatnam, with the ₹250 crore facility expected to create more than 1,000 jobs in Andhra Pradesh. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu virtually inaugurated the park on 11 November at an event organised by the district administration at APIIC Industrial Park in Peda Gantyada.

The new facility spans 17 acres at Gurrampalem and sits along the Anakapalle–Anandapuram Expressway (NH-16). Its direct access to Visakhapatnam Port is expected to strengthen multimodal connectivity and support India’s growing logistics and industrial movement, especially from the country’s eastern coastline. The project addresses rising demand for Grade A logistics parks in the region.

The land was allocated by the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Ltd. (APIIC), which supported land acquisition and fast-tracked approvals. TVS Industrial and Logistics Parks, India’s early developer of Grade A warehousing and industrial infrastructure, manages the project.

During the launch, the Chief Minister highlighted the state’s ‘One Family, One Entrepreneur’ vision aimed at developing entrepreneurship across households. Dr. Ramnath Subramaniam, Joint Managing Director of TVS ILP, said Andhra Pradesh’s strategic location and industrial ecosystem make it an attractive destination for infrastructure-led investment. He added that Visakhapatnam’s multimodal connectivity, port infrastructure and proximity to manufacturing clusters position the facility to meet the needs of sectors such as automotive, FMCG, manufacturing and e-commerce.

Several dignitaries attended the inauguration, including ministers from the Andhra Pradesh government, Member of Parliament Sri Mathukumilli Sribharat Garu and APIIC Chairman Sri Manthena Rama Raju Garu. The ceremony was presided over by Sri P. Ramesh Babu Garu, Member of the Legislative Assembly from Pendurthi.
