Om Logistics Supply Chain has positioned its Speed Trucking service as a core offering for time-sensitive freight movement as businesses face tighter production cycles and delivery schedules. The company said the service enables hourly consignment movement using surface transport while delivering transit timelines comparable to air cargo.

The company said Speed Trucking has been supporting faster and predictable cargo movement across India, particularly for shippers that require time-bound deliveries. Built around a national highway network, the service is designed to handle high-volume consignments while maintaining cost efficiency. It is also positioned as an alternative for lanes with limited or inconsistent air connectivity.

The operating model is based on fixed hourly departures and a relay driver system that allows vehicles to run continuously with minimal stoppages. Direct origin-to-destination movement without transshipment reduces handling and limits transit risks. According to the company, this structure helps maintain consistency in delivery schedules and supports industries where delays can disrupt production and inventory planning.

Om Logistics said the service is supported by its nationwide network, hub infrastructure and containerised fleet equipped with GPS tracking. The company stated that consignments can cover up to 1,000 kilometres a day, enabling faster turnaround compared to conventional surface transport timelines.

The service is being used across sectors such as automotive, electronics, pharmaceuticals, engineering goods and high-value retail. The company said Speed Trucking is intended to address growing demand for predictable and time-defined logistics solutions as supply chains become more time-sensitive.

Through the service, Om Logistics aims to strengthen its position in time-bound surface logistics by combining scheduled operations, network coverage and end-to-end visibility to meet evolving shipper requirements.
