Mahindra Logistics reduces loss to Rs 36cr in FY25, Sikka to be CEO

Revenue increased 11% to Rs 6,105 crore on strong performance in 3PL, last mile delivery and cross border services.;

Mahindra Logistics (MLL) reported a net loss of Rs 36 crore for the year ended March 31, 2025 compared to Rs 55 crore in FY2024.

Consolidated revenue increased 11 percent to Rs 6,105 crore compared to Rs 5,506 crore in the previous financial year, according to an official release.

Revenue increase was driven by strong performance in 3PL, last mile delivery and cross border services, the release added.

For Q42025, net loss declined to Rs 7 crore and revenue increased to Rs 1,570 crore.

"FY2025 business highlights:

*Continued the focus on expanding capacity and making investments in the eastern and north eastern region, focusing on warehouses, delivery stations and express logistics.

* MLL entered a 50:50 joint venture with Seino Holdings to provide integrated logistics solutions to Japanese auto and auto-ancillary customers.

*The warehouse space under management stood at 20.8 million square feet. Current expansion in Pune, Kolkata, Phaltan and Agartala are on track.

*Entered a partnership with Asian Paints for Pro-trucking integrated transportation solutions. Pro-trucking offers a fleet of owned, dedicated, premium, fuel-efficient fleet tailored for extensive pan-India line haul movements."

Rampraveen Swaminathan, Managing Director and CEO, Mahindra Logistics says: "“During the quarter, we saw a positive trend of revenue growth, with YoY growth of eight percent driven by growth in 3PL contract logistics and Express. For the full year, revenue grew by 11% driven by account additions, new offerings and new launches. The B2B express business demonstrated volume recovery in the quarter, combined with cost management. Cross-border continues to see volatility in pricing. We are on track with new warehousing additions in Maharashtra, West Bengal, Guwahati & Tripura. We remain focused on expanding margins through share of solutions, cost management, and turnaround of the express business."

Hemant Sikka to be CEO
Hemant Sikka, who is currently President, Farm Equipment Sector (FES), Mahindra & Mahindra, has been appointed as the MD & CEO by the MLL board.

Hemant is one of our top leaders and brings with him a powerful combination of strategic skills, operational rigor, customer centricity and people leadership capabilities. The current CEO, Ram Swaminathan has decided to step down to pursue other professional interests," says an official release from M&M.
