Delhivery launches intracity shipping service in Mumbai, Hyderabad

Delhivery, India’s largest fully integrated logistics provider, has launched its on-demand intracity shipping service in Mumbai and Hyderabad. The service, facilitated through the Delhivery Direct app, is designed to meet the growing local shipping needs of small businesses, direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands, and individual residents.

According to the press release, the feature of the new offering is the 15-minute pickup window, which allows users to schedule rapid collections immediately after booking.

The service provides a network connecting commercial and residential hubs across both metropolitan areas, supported by real-time tracking for all shipments. To accommodate shipment sizes, users can choose from a range of vehicles, including two-wheelers for small parcels and three or four-wheeler vehicles for larger consignments.

Nikhil Vij, Head of Intracity Business at Delhivery said, “This launch increases our presence to 5 key cities, including Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad. We will continue to invest and expand to more cities to serve the growing demand across India.”

The Delhivery Direct app is currently available for download on both Google Play and the Apple App Store. In addition to local intracity deliveries, the application serves as a gateway for intercity shipments, covering more than 18,850 pincodes across India, effectively linking local on-demand speed with the company’s extensive nationwide reach.
