Porter has strengthened its leadership team as it enters its next phase of growth, appointing Gaurav Jain as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and elevating Shubham Gupta as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Mohit Rathi as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).

The appointments support the company's efforts to formalise India's goods movement sector and expand its impact on micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and driver-partners.

Jain joins Porter from Amazon, where he spent more than a decade. He brings over 20 years of experience in finance and strategy across e-commerce, financial services and FMCG. As CFO, he will oversee the company's financial strategy as it scales its operations.

Gupta, who joined Porter in 2015, has led its engineering operations through a period of rapid expansion. His work has focused on modernising the technology infrastructure, improving scalability and security, optimising costs and integrating AI. In his new role, he will lead technology across Porter and its newer businesses.

Rathi has been with Porter for more than a decade, having started as an Expansion Manager and led the launch of operations in Hyderabad and Chennai. Since 2023, he has served as Vice President of Customer Growth and Engagement, focusing on customer retention, engagement, enterprise services and go-to-market strategies. As CMO, he will lead the company's marketing and growth initiatives.

Uttam Digga, Co-founder and CEO, Porter, said, “Watching our people grow, take on bigger challenges and outperform is among the most fulfilling parts of building Porter. Shubham and Mohit have been pillars of this company, the core of how we work. Their new roles recognise the ownership they have shown, the impact it has created, and the trust we place in them to take Porter forward. We are also delighted to welcome Gaurav as our CFO. His experience in scaling businesses will be a strong addition as we enter our next phase of growth.”
