Dachser has widened its wine and spirits logistics portfolio in Asia Pacific. It will now provide expanded multimodal supply chain services for trade between Europe and the region. The move integrates air, sea, and road transport to support the growing demand in the beverage sector.

The company said the expansion leverages its European road logistics network and multimodal capabilities to deliver wine and spirits efficiently from origin to destination. According to Dachser, the Asia Pacific wine and spirits market is projected to grow at 5 to 6 per cent annually until 2030.

"The region presents significant opportunities for Dachser to apply our established expertise in wine and spirits logistics," said Roman Mueller, Managing Director for Air & Sea Logistics Asia Pacific. "At Dachser, we understand the unique needs of our customers and are committed to delivering wine and spirits with excellence, ensuring customers experience a first-class journey from European wineries to markets across APAC."

The company highlighted its participation at ProWine Hong Kong 2025 as a milestone in building its regional wine and spirits logistics portfolio. The event, held in May, allowed Dachser to engage with importers, distributors, and hospitality professionals.

Dachser’s integrated services include air, sea (FCL and LCL), and European road freight, along with buyers' consolidation, customs clearance, warehousing, temperature-controlled handling, and insurance. "We consolidate shipments from multiple European suppliers to a single consignee and act as a one-stop logistics partner," said Sébastien Ferrandiz, Business Development Manager, Food and Beverage Logistics, Asia Pacific.

Operating in Asia Pacific for more than 45 years, Dachser has over 40 locations, including Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore, Seoul, Bangkok, Mumbai, and Ho Chi Minh City. Recent expansion includes new operations in Australia, New Zealand, and Japan, as well as sales offices in Chiang Mai and Da Nang.

The company, headquartered in Kempten, Germany, generated consolidated net revenue of about EUR 8 billion in 2024, handling 83.2 million shipments with a total tonnage of 44.1 million metric tonnes.
