Third-party logistics leader CEVA Logistics announced on January 15 the opening of a new warehouse in the Dubai South Free Zone, strategically positioning itself within a critical logistics hub for the UAE and the broader Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.

According to the press release, the new multi-user facility covers 23,000 square meters and features 20-meter-high ceilings, with a design that prioritises environmental responsibility through the installation of LED lighting, waste recycling stations, and 1,600 square meters of solar panels.

Antonio Munoz, vice president of contract logistics, IMEA, CEVA Logistics, said: "What we achieved in Dubai South is nothing short of extraordinary. Our determination, creativity and customer-first mindset turned what seemed like an impossible task into reality. This warehouse is a testament to CEVA’s ability to adapt, innovate and deliver responsive logistics for our customers, no matter the circumstances."

Driven by urgent customer demand, CEVA teams rapidly operationalised the site in a matter of weeks, and it is already processing more than 30,000 units per day.

CEVA's growth in India, highlighted by the strategic acquisition of Stellar Value Chain Solutions, is further strengthened by this GCC expansion.

The acquisition established a substantial logistics network across India, comprising over 75 facilities and 7.7 million square feet of logistics space, strategically located in key industrial hubs spanning from Delhi-NCR to Chennai.
