The National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC), Logistics Data Services (NLDS) and the Government of Andhra Pradesh have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to leverage the Unified Logistics Interface Platform (ULIP) for the complete digitisation of the state's logistics ecosystem.
Under this initiative, an integrated digital platform will be developed and implemented to offer government and private stakeholders in Andhra Pradesh real-time visibility into the state’s logistics operations and performance metrics.
As per the press release, the core objective of the platform is to enhance coordination, improve efficiency, and support informed, data-driven decision-making across all sectors, allowing stakeholders to access seamless, real-time information.
The Government of Andhra Pradesh, acting through its agency INCAP, will collaborate closely with NLDSL to construct an integrated logistics dashboard.
This dashboard will be crucial for monitoring logistics-related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across various state departments. The analytical insights and actionable reports generated through this system will be used to strengthen and upgrade the state’s logistics infrastructure by fully utilizing ULIP's capabilities.
What is ULIP?
The Unified Logistics Interface Platform (ULIP) is a digital gateway that allows industry stakeholders to access logistics-related datasets from various government systems through API-based integration. ULIP has already successfully integrated with 44 systems across 11 ministries via 136 APIs, covering more than 2,000 data fields.
The platform is seeing rapid adoption, with over 210 applications developed by private companies and resulting in more than 200 crore API transactions. Beyond private sector use, ULIP is also supporting data-driven governance by delivering synthesised logistics insights to central ministries and departments, including Coal, the Food Corporation of India (FCI), and various state governments.
