TVS Supply Chain Solutions (TVS SCS), one of India’s integrated supply chain providers, has set its sights on becoming a $500 million revenue business in North America, building on a 20% annual growth rate over the past four years. The company marked this milestone with the inauguration of a new 225,000-square-foot build-to-suit facility in Waterloo, Iowa, aimed at strengthening its presence in the U.S. Midwest.
The state-of-the-art facility will enable TVS SCS to better serve local manufacturers and key clients, offering manufacturing support services such as value-added assembly, kitting, sequencing, and just-in-time delivery. With 95% of its capacity already committed, the facility features advanced automation and robotic technology designed to enhance operational efficiency, reduce lead times, and maintain high service quality.
“Our new facility in Iowa embodies the future of supply chain management,” said Ravi Viswanathan, Managing Director of TVS Supply Chain Solutions. “It reflects the strong demand for our services and the trust our clients place in our capabilities, positioning us for faster growth in the U.S. market.”
The inauguration was attended by Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds and Waterloo Mayor Quentin Hart, who hailed the facility as a key step in strengthening Iowa’s role as a hub for manufacturing distribution and supply chain innovation. Richard Vieites, CEO of North America & Europe for TVS SCS, said the company plans to continue expanding its presence in the U.S., investing in advanced facilities, enhancing technological capabilities, and building partnerships to drive supply chain innovation.
This Waterloo facility is TVS SCS’ second in Iowa, featuring 6,800 square feet of office space, a driver’s lounge, 30 loading dock doors, and two drive-in doors. The company is also constructing another 225,000-square-foot facility in the region, set to go live next quarter. TVS SCS’ first Iowa facility is located in Iowa City.
