Future Retail and its brands will be now available in Amazon.in

FRL products across fashion, appliances, home, kitchen and grocery will now be available to customers shopping on Amazon.in.

January 6, 2020: Amazon India has signed two long-term business agreements with Future Group to be the authorized online sales medium for Future Retail (FRL) stores and consumer brands.

FRL’s stores offering products across fashion, appliances, home, kitchen and grocery will now be available to customers shopping on Amazon.in, in hours across over 25 cities. The combination of offline capabilities of Future Group and online reach of Amazon India is expected to be a game-changer in the field.

The agreements focusing on key categories:

1) Grocery and general merchandise: Focusing on groceries, general merchandise and beauty categories

2) Fashion and footwear: Focusing on fashion and apparel, footwear, jewellery, watches, luggage, travel gear, eyewear, perfumes, and related accessories, and such other categories.

Amazon India will be also the authorised online sales channel for department and grocery stores chain Big Bazaar and lifestyle food superstore Foodhall, Tasty Treat, Voom, Dreamery, Karmiq, Mother Earth, Kara and CleanMate.

Currently, FRL attracts over 350 million footfalls across its retail network and online is not something it has explored in depth. FRL will list on the Amazon Prime Now programme, allowing customers to get food, grocery and general merchandise delivery within two hours in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad.
