Cochin International Airport (CIAL), in collaboration with Cargo Service Center (CSC), hosted the Air Cargo Trade Meet 2025 on 2 August and unveiled the TURANT app at Cochin Airport. The app, designed for real-time tracking and full transparency of export and import shipments, aims to transform cargo handling in the region and bring end-to-end visibility to stakeholders.

CIAL, taking the lead in developing Kerala’s air cargo network, organised the event to connect industry leaders, trade partners, and dignitaries. CSC, with over three decades of experience in air cargo handling, extended strong support to the initiative. Both organisations presented their latest developments and strategic plans focused on the southern Indian air cargo landscape.

A key part of the event was the interactive session that addressed trade queries, encouraged discussion, and highlighted the shared goal of making Kerala and South India prominent air cargo hubs. Attendees benefited from networking opportunities, with the evening ending in a cocktail dinner and memento distribution.

CSC’s launch of the TURANT app at Cochin follows its successful use at other major Indian airports. The app promises to boost operational efficiency and customer confidence across Kerala’s growing logistics sector.

CSC's leadership noted the strength of its partnership with CIAL, based on service excellence, safety, and innovation. They highlighted that with new tools like TURANT and continued investments, the two organisations aim to further empower Kerala’s logistics community.

"With Kerala’s largest cargo terminal expanding its capabilities, CIAL and CSC are set to push new boundaries in trade facilitation, technology, and customer service," the CSC release reads.
