Group Concorde has announced a strategic commercial representation agreement with Avianca Cargo across the United Arab Emirates, Australia, New Zealand, Cambodia and the Philippines. The agreement expands Group Concorde’s cargo representation network and strengthens Avianca Cargo’s commercial presence in markets across the Middle East, Asia-Pacific and Southeast Asia.

Under the agreement, Group Concorde will represent Avianca Cargo’s commercial interests in the five markets and serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking access to the carrier’s cargo network across the Americas. The company said the partnership is aimed at strengthening connectivity between shippers, freight forwarders and logistics operators in these regions and Avianca Cargo’s network covering North, Central and South America.

The partnership comes as airlines and cargo operators continue to expand their commercial reach through general sales and service agent partnerships to improve access to trade flows linking Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and the Americas. Through the agreement, customers in the UAE, Australia, New Zealand, Cambodia and the Philippines will gain commercial access to Avianca Cargo’s network, which includes more than 70 destinations across the Americas.

Group Concorde said Avianca Cargo currently operates more than 220 weekly freighter flights and over 1,600 weekly passenger flights. The company said the scale of the network positions Avianca Cargo as a connector for markets seeking cargo access into the Americas through scheduled freighter and passenger capacity.

“We are delighted to partner with Avianca Cargo across these five strategic markets. This collaboration reflects the confidence placed in Group Concorde’s global capabilities, commercial strength and commitment to delivering value-driven cargo solutions. We look forward to building a successful and long-term partnership together while creating enhanced opportunities for customers across the region,” said Ralph van Eijk, Chief Airline and Marketing Officer, Group Concorde.

Group Concorde said the agreement forms part of its strategy to expand its aviation and cargo services business across international markets. The company currently provides GSSA representation, cargo sales, operational support and aviation services for multiple airlines across regions including the UAE, India and Asia-Pacific.

Avianca, part of Grupo Abra and a member of Star Alliance, operates more than 155 routes with over 700 daily flights using a fleet of Airbus A320 and Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft. The airline group connects more than 80 destinations across over 25 countries in the Americas and Europe. In cargo operations, Avianca Cargo connects more than 350 destinations through freighter operations, passenger services and interline agreements.
