May 20, 2019: Air India has announced that it will add one flight each from Delhi and Mumbai to Dubai from June 1.

The company has said that balance sheet management and not operating the airline like a lifestyle company are the two main elements for reviving Jet Airways.

London-based AdiGro Group proposes to restart Jet Airways operations by July 1

May 20, 2019: One of the unsolicited bidders for Jet Airways, London-based AdiGro Group, has proposed to resume its operations by July 1.

The group has already received approval of key stakeholders, including founder Naresh Goyal and Etihad Airways, which hold 51 percent and 24 percent stakes respectively in Jet. Of Goyal’s 51 percent, 31.2 percent is pledged with lenders.
