Nhava Sheva Gateway Terminal starts weekly service to Gulf and Africa

September 28, 2017: Dubai-headquartered, DP World operated Nhava Sheva (India) Gateway Terminal has added a new service to Gulf and West Africa. The new service named INGWE (India – Gulf – West Africa) operated by MSC is a weekly service with vessels of capacity more than 9,000 TEU’s.

September 28, 2017: Dubai-headquartered, DP World operated Nhava Sheva (India) Gateway Terminal has added a new service to Gulf and West Africa. The new service named INGWE (India – Gulf – West Africa) operated by MSC is a weekly service with vessels of capacity more than 9,000 TEU’s.

The service was officially introduced on September 18, 2017, with the maiden call of MSC Albany. The service will be following the below port rotations: Ningbo – Shanghai – Shekou – Singapore – Colombo – Port Luis – Durban – Coega – Salalah – Jebel Ali – Karachi – Mundra – Nhava Sheva – Hazira – Colombo – Ningbo.

NSIGT terminal is DP World subcontinent region’s latest offering to the maritime trade of India. NSIGT was recently conferred with LEED Platinum certification by Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI) which testifies the terminal as a resource efficient building utilising less water and energy and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
