TVS, Palfinger partner for end-to-end operations; to invest ₹350 cr for Pune plant
Palfinger's Indian operations focus on several crucial areas, including its mobility solutions, aftermarket services, supply chain, and dealership network.

TVS Mobility and Austrian lifting solutions provider Palfinger have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to support Palfinger's operations in India, covering key areas such as its supply chain, dealership network, aftermarket services, and mobility solutions.
As part of the collaboration's first phase, Palfinger will invest ₹350 crore to establish a manufacturing facility in Pune, targeted for completion by the calendar year 2027.
This partnership is a component of Palfinger’s Strategy 2030+, a global roadmap focused on elevating customer value, ensuring balanced profitable growth, and achieving execution excellence across domestic and international markets.

Under a separate contractual agreement, the TVS Mobility Group will leverage the specialised strengths of three of its key entities to provide comprehensive logistics and market support to Palfinger. T
TVS Supply Chain Solutions (TVS SCS), the logistics arm, will manage inbound logistics from Austria, free trade warehousing zone (FTWZ) operations, and integrated warehousing, ensuring seamless material flow and scalable distribution.
TVS Smart Mobility (TVS SM) is tasked with accelerating Palfinger’s go-to-market strategy by utilising its robust network of over 150 dealership points across India, and by facilitating structured vehicle-on-demand and flexible mobility solutions.
Finally, TVS Automobile Solutions (TVS ASL) will focus on the vehicle lifecycle, integrating aftermarket operations through its nationwide parts distribution and service infrastructure to guarantee improved turnaround times, service readiness, and maximum equipment uptime for customers.
Both TVS Mobility Group and Palfinger plan to jointly explore opportunities within the defense sector. This initiative will combine Palfinger’s specialised equipment technologies with the deep operational expertise and domain knowledge of TVS SCS.
