Aegis Logistics incorporates wholly owned subsidiary in Singapore

Aegis Logistics has incorporated a new wholly owned subsidiary, Aegis Logistics International, in Singapore through its wholly owned subsidiary Eastern India LPG Company.

Aegis Logistics International was incorporated on September 25, 2026, and has become a step-down subsidiary of Aegis Logistics. The company has an initial share capital of US$1 and has not yet started operations.

The Singapore company will undertake storage and terminaling, associated logistics activities and investments in companies engaged in these activities. Eastern India LPG Company holds 100% of its shareholding and is itself a wholly owned subsidiary of Aegis Logistics.

The incorporation comes as Aegis expands its energy logistics infrastructure beyond LPG. The company has been developing an independent ammonia storage terminal at Pipavav in Gujarat with a capacity of 36,000 tonnes. The terminal includes cargo handling facilities, pipelines and truck loading and unloading facilities.

Aegis had said in June that the Pipavav ammonia terminal was backed by a 15-year take-or-pay agreement with Hindustan Zinc. It also said it was preparing to enter ammonia distribution and evaluating further ammonia infrastructure opportunities.

ITOCHU acquired an initial stake in the Pipavav ammonia terminal business in August 2026. The investment followed Aegis' transfer of the terminal to Aegis Terminal (Pipavav) and is intended to support ammonia logistics infrastructure and the development of green energy applications in India.

Aegis has also been expanding its LPG infrastructure across India. In FY26, LPG terminal throughput increased 14% to 5.15 million tonnes, while distribution volumes rose 45% to 754,000 tonnes. The company has said it expects LPG supply conditions to continue improving following disruptions caused by the West Asia conflict.

Aegis Logistics International is incorporated in Singapore and has not yet started operations.
