Ritco Logistics adds 100 heavy-duty vehicles for steel and infra sectors
The newly inducted 40-ft customised side-body fleets are designed for transporting steel coils, TMT bars, and sheets.
Ritco Logistics, a provider of full truck loaded, warehousing, 3PL, fleet, and multimodal logistics solutions, has expanded its fleet with 100 new heavy-duty, customised vehicles. This expansion is specifically dedicated to serving the steel and infrastructure sectors.
The newly inducted 40-ft customised side-body fleets are designed for transporting steel coils, TMT bars, and sheets. Ritco has strategically deployed these fleets from its Orissa Fleet Centre, a significant steel manufacturing hub, to address the growing demand from major steel producers and industrial clients.
This deployment is aimed at enhancing first-mile connectivity from the steel hub, resulting in quicker dispatch times, less idle time, and dedicated supervision. The vehicles are BS6-compliant and feature advanced telematics, 24x7 GPS-enabled monitoring, route optimisation, and safety tracking, supporting Ritco’s industry-focused 3PL strategy.
Rajesh Mudialiar, Chief Business Officer of Ritco Logistics, stated, “With this dedicated fleet, we are strengthening our ability to deliver specialized, technology-enabled logistics solutions that align with the operational scale and urgency of India’s leading steel and infrastructure players.”
The company’s expansion is in line with major Government of India initiatives, including PM Gati Shakti, the National Infrastructure Pipeline (NIP), Bharatmala, Sagarmala, Dedicated Freight Corridors, metro rail expansion, and renewable energy projects.
