Himalaya Wellness and Unicommerce to power digital-First Omnichannel

Himalaya Wellness company announced on December 28 a strategic partnership with e-commerce enablement platform Unicommerce to streamline the wellness supply chain operations and bolster its omnichannel capabilities.

Himalaya Wellness is deploying Unicommerce’s technology to integrate its vast network of online marketplaces and physical retail outlets.

According to the press release, the primary goal is to automate order processing and inventory management, ensuring faster deliveries and a more cohesive shopping experience for customers.

The company has implemented Unicommerce’s flagship solution, Uniware, which will serve as the central nervous system for its e-commerce stack, connecting multi-channel orders, warehouse data, and retail management systems into a single unified platform.

Renu Reddy K., Senior Manager of Consumer Experience & Engagement at Himalaya Wellness Company said, "Partnering with Unicommerce equips us with the tools, visibility, and control to streamline operations across online and offline channels, ensuring faster deliveries and a seamless shopping experience".

Unicommerce’s platform addresses this by offering plug-and-play integrations that connect disparate parts of the retail ecosystem, including marketplaces, brand webstores, logistics providers, ERPs, and Point of Sale (PoS) systems.

This integration will allow Himalaya to automate order processing across multiple touchpoints and manage its entire e-commerce stack with greater ease.
