ElasticRun has expanded its distributed fulfilment network by adding four large fulfilment centres across Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, Mumbai and Kolkata, increasing capacity by nearly 2 lakh sq. ft. to help brands position inventory closer to demand and enable faster deliveries.
The new facilities strengthen the company’s ability to offer 2-hour, same-day and next-day fulfilment across key consumption corridors, including Pune, Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad, Howrah and Hosur.
The expansion is part of ElasticRun’s broader strategy to combine more than 150 quick commerce-format dark stores across around 95 cities with large metro-scale fulfilment hubs. This approach is designed to create a distributed and coordinated network focused on speed, resilience and scale.
By decentralising inventory and optimising fulfilment at the metro level, the network enables brands to respond more quickly to demand surges, manage multichannel variability and maintain reliability during peak periods.
At the centre of the network is ElasticRun’s AI-enabled, in-house technology platform, developed for high-velocity commerce. The platform manages inventory placement, order flows, workforce productivity and network capacity in real time, allowing predictive decision-making and faster handling of exceptions. This enables the physical network to operate as a single system rather than separate facilities.
With more than a decade of experience in building large-scale supply chains, ElasticRun supports leading e-commerce platforms along with over 100 D2C and retail brands, delivering consistent performance across high-volume and multi-speed fulfilment environments.
Commenting on the expansion, Sandeep Deshmukh, Co-Founder and CEO, ElasticRun, said, “Speed has become central to how brands compete and grow. This expansion is a strategic step towards building a distributed speed network for India. By bringing inventory, intelligence, and infrastructure closer together, we are strengthening our role as a long-term speed partner for brands across the country.”
