Rishi Sareen, who earlier served as Chief Information Officer, will now lead operations with a mandate to transform DTDC’s network into a future-ready and agile system. He will work on integrating technology with physical infrastructure to create a unified and scalable operating model, while improving network resilience and ensuring consistent service delivery.

Abhishek Chakraborty, CEO, DTDC Express, said the company has always believed in developing leadership from within. He added that as DTDC scales its operations, it is important to have leaders who can connect strategy with execution, and the new roles support that direction.

Rishi Sareen said the company’s priority is to build a disciplined and agile operating model that ensures consistency across the network. He added that closer alignment between planning, execution and delivery will help improve efficiency and responsiveness.

Suraj Sud said he aims to build on the existing digital foundation and drive the next phase of product and platform innovation. He added that the focus will be on enhancing customer experience, streamlining operations and supporting sustainable growth.

DTDC operates a large logistics network in India supported by a wide partner ecosystem. The company said it will continue to focus on improving execution and strengthening the technology that supports its operations, while building a more responsive and resilient organisation.
