Container Corporation of India Limited (CONCOR) announced on November 3, 2025, the successful movement of the inaugural export shipment from its multimodal logistics park (MMLP) at Kadakola, Mysuru.
The company shared on social media platform X, “We are delighted to announce the movement of the inaugural export shipment from CONCOR’s Multimodal Logistics Park (MMLP) – Kadakola (GCCK), Mysuru, via CONCOR inland container depot (ICD)-Tondiarpet (TNPM), Chennai, to the Maldives, in a CONCOR-owned container.”
This pivotal movement, which strengthens CONCOR’s international logistics footprint, was officially inaugurated on November 3, 2025, by the CMD, CONCOR, alongside Prabhas Dansana, P. ED TT, Railway Board, and CONCOR’s Strategic Team.
In a strong demonstration of its commitment to sustainability, innovation, and green logistics, the event featured the execution of the initial leg of the movement using CONCOR’s eco-friendly LNG-powered vehicle.
This aligns with the company's broader green initiatives, such as the establishment of the first LNG pump in North India at its Khatuwas facility.
Looking ahead, CONCOR is actively engaged in several major projects, including developing multiple mega-logistics projects, establishing a container terminal at the new Bhavnagar Port, and a major collaboration with the JN Port Authority for the upcoming Vadhvan Port.
The company is also expanding its service offerings to include bulk cement transport using specialised containers.
