Allcargo Global, the international supply chain arm of the Allcargo Group, has announced the appointment of Vaishnav Shetty as Deputy Managing Director, effective immediately. The appointment, approved by the Board of Directors, comes at a moment as the logistics conglomerate undergoes organisational restructuring.

This exercise is designed to split its diverse business portfolio into four distinct, focused entities.

A key part of this strategy is the demerger of the International Supply Chain (ISC) business into a new entity, Allcargo Global. This new company is proposed to be listed on stock exchanges. The overall objective of this move is to give the supply chain vertical a clearer strategic focus and enhance its operational agility.

Vaishnav Shetty said, "As we prepare for the next phase of growth, our focus will remain on customer centricity, technology-led innovation, and disciplined execution. We look forward to leveraging emerging opportunities to strengthen India’s role in global trade by deepening our capabilities and expanding our global footprint."

Vaishnav Shetty brings extensive experience in digital innovation to the Deputy MD role. Since joining the Allcargo Group in 2017, he has been a primary driver of the company's digital transformation agenda.

As Chief Digital Officer, he spearheaded the adoption of data-led, next-generation technologies and AI-enabled processes across the group. A central achievement was playing a key role in the development of the ECU360 Platform, a digital freight platform globally recognised for its transparency and usability, which has reinforced Allcargo's leadership in international consolidation.

Prior to this, as Executive Director (North Asia), he led strategic initiatives to consolidate Allcargo Global's market position in the region.
