AI Logistix partners with Logistics Sector Skill Council

LSC will assist AI Logistix in locating qualified personnel and addressing supply and demand difficulties in the logistics industry.

AI Logistix, a company recognized for providing Green Deliveries via its low-carbon fleets, announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Logistics Sector Skill Council (LSC).

The LSC was established by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) via the National Skill Development Corporation of India (NSDC) and is sponsored by the Confederation of Indian Industries Institute of Logistics (CII-IL).

One of the primary concerns confronting the logistics business is a lack of trained labour. The primary goal of this MoU is to close that gap. LSC will assist AI Logistix in locating qualified personnel and addressing supply and demand difficulties in the logistics industry. AI Logistix, for its part, will keep LSC informed of any jobs it has across India.

Ravikanth Yamarthy, COO and Officiating CEO of Logistics Sector Skill Council said, "Logistics Sector Skill Council, an Apex Industry body set up by Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship through NSDC, for setting Standards in skilling in Logistics Qualifications has entered into an MoU with AI Logistix to recruit skilled and certified manpower, engage apprentices, under the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme, endorse qualifications prepared by LSC, for approval by regulatory for Skills, which is National Council For Vocational Education and Training. This partnership will be a win-win for both as skilled manpower would address the current problems of the Logistics sector of attrition and higher incident levels.

This MoU will also pave the way for other companies to follow the suite of employing skilled manpower, apprentices and qualified logisticians, under the BBA Logistics program", he further added.

AI Logistix aims to be the LAST sMILE delivery partner by providing entire end-to-end Green Logistics through innovative and low-carbon fleets. It is quickly developing to meet the Green Logistics needs of every industry vertical.

The Logistics Sector Skill Council (LSC) is a non-profit organization with the purpose of putting skilling at the center of human development and connecting it to the world of logistics.

The two organizations will collaborate on a similar goal to enhance the logistics industry and the appropriate utilization of skilled labour.
