TVS Industrial & Logistics Parks (TVS ILP), a tech-enabled infrastructure solutions provider, announced an investment of ₹250 crore (₹2.5 billion) for the development of a Grade-A Industrial & Logistics Park in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
The land was secured through the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC), which spans 17 acres, and will be executed in multiple phases, with 4 lakh square feet of ready-to-move-in space already available, according to the company’s release.
Aditi Kumar, Joint Managing Director of TVS ILP said, “Visakhapatnam’s strategic location along the Bay of Bengal makes it a natural hub for warehousing and logistics. With one of India’s busiest ports, it serves as a gateway for trade with Southeast Asia and beyond.”
The new park is specifically designed to leverage this maritime connectivity, catering to high-growth sectors such as pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, 3PLs, automobiles, electronics, and seafood processing.
The release further said that the company's goal is to accelerate industrial growth, enable trade, and create over 1,000 jobs upon full operation of the built-to-suit (BTS) facility, contributing significantly to the local economy.
The logistics park is strategically situated just 21 km from Vizag Airport, 28 km from the Railway Station, and 32 km from Vizag Port, with direct access to the major Chennai–Kolkata Highway.
It features modern industrial specifications, including a 12-metre clear height, advanced fire-fighting systems, and high floor load capacity, complemented by amenities like LED lighting and wide internal roads.
Demonstrating a commitment to ESG compliance and being future-ready, the park has prioritised sustainability with features such as rainwater harvesting, 100% reuse of treated wastewater, and the adoption of renewable energy through solar-powered streetlights.
