Snowman Logistics, India’s leading temperature-controlled logistics provider, has begun construction of a new cold storage facility in Pune, developed under the Built-to-Suit (BTS) model by Whitecastle Infra. The new warehouse, with a capacity of 5,900 pallets, is scheduled to be operational by June 2026 and will strengthen Snowman’s existing network in western India.
The facility aims to meet the rising demand for high-quality temperature-controlled logistics in the Pune region. Snowman already operates 16,000 pallets in the city and plans to cater to industries such as ice cream, chocolates, dairy products, quick service and fast-food restaurants, coffee chains, meat, poultry, seafood, pharmaceuticals, and other industrial goods that require reliable cold chain services.
Commenting on the development, Ishaan Gupta, Director, Snowman Logistics, said, “This new facility in Pune is a testament to our ongoing efforts to expand our footprint and deliver world-class cold chain solutions through both owned and asset-light models. It will play a crucial role in supporting the growing demand for temperature-sensitive logistics across diverse sectors.”
The expansion further strengthens Snowman’s commitment to building India’s cold chain infrastructure across key consumption and production hubs. With an existing capacity of 154,330 pallets across 21 cities, including Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Delhi and Kolkata, the new Pune warehouse marks another milestone in the company’s growth journey.
