Grofers ties up with online truck booking venture Mavyn Logistics

December 28, 2019: The online grocery retailer, Grofers, tied up with the online truck booking company, Mavyn Logistics, for end-to-end supply chain solution.

This is another client of the logistics tech company after Flipkart, Amazon and Urban Ladder, reports Business Standard.

Launched in January 2019 by Sachin Haritash, Mavyn Logistics is an Uber-like mobile application acts as a bridge between the shipper and the trucker with the help of artificial intelligence and big data.

Mavyn currently has 800 truckers, 6000 vehicles and 6400 drivers registered on its portal from 30 districts and 512 routes in the country.

The application has been connecting truckers with companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Urban Ladder, Britannia, Samsung, Unicharm, Pepsico, Kelloggs, Hindustan Unilever Limited, Perfetti Van Melle India, Usha International and Orient which operates in sectors including fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), lifestyle and e-commerce.
