August 03, 2017: Felix Kreutel is set to lead Fraport AG's Cargo Development & Management department from October 1 this year. Kreutel has held the position of vice president in Fraport’s Cargo & Logistics department since 2015 and will now be replacing Dirk Schusdziara.

After successfully holding the position for two years, Schusdziara is moving to lead the Commercial Affairs department at Fraport AG’s Airside & Terminal Management, Corporate Safety & Security strategic business unit, where his responsibilities will include Fraport’s airport charges policy.

Commenting on his new task, Kreutel said, “The air cargo industry is currently undergoing enormous changes. The rise of new technologies requires enhanced cooperation among all cargo partners to ensure our competitiveness on the global market. Maintaining a close contact with our customers is therefore even more important than before. My team and I wish to be a reliable and transparent partner for the cargo community. Together, we want to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the new technologies to strengthen and expand our position as Europe’s largest freight airport and as the industry’s innovation leader.”

Kreutel, who has a university degree in engineering, joined Fraport AG in 2000 as part of the Group’s trainee programme. From 2001 to 2007 he held a position in Fraport’s Retail department, while simultaneously completing an Executive MBA at the University of Nottingham. Subsequently, he switched to Fraport AG’s Real Estate unit, where his responsibilities included master planning and real estate development.
