MJets Air launches Mumbai–Kuala Lumpur freighter service

Malaysia-based cargo airline MJets Air, headquartered at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), has launched a new freighter service connecting Mumbai (BOM) and Kuala Lumpur (KUL), effective September 10, 2025.

The service operates with a Boeing 737-800 freighter on Wednesdays (third day) and Fridays (fifth day) of the week, offering a cargo capacity of about 20 tonnes (20,000 kgs).

Flight WW350 operates from Kuala Lumpur (KUL) to Mumbai (BOM), while the return leg, WW351, departs Mumbai at 22:30 hrs and arrives in Kuala Lumpur at 06:30 hrs the following day.

MJets Air operates a fleet of six Boeing 737 freighters, five 737-800Fs, and one 737-400F, with an average age of 20.6 years, according to data from Planespotters.net.

The carrier has appointed Menteiz Air Cargo GSA Private Limited as its General Sales Agent (GSA) for India operations.

Beyond freighter operations, MJets Air holds a Cargo Terminal Operation (CTO) licence and operates a 265,345-square-foot facility with an annual processing capacity of 225,000 tonnes.

The carrier offers scheduled charter and air freight services across Asia, connecting to multiple destinations. Its network includes Dhaka (DAC) and Chittagong (CGP) in Bangladesh, Bandar Seri Begawan (BWN) in Brunei, Phnom Penh (PNH) and Siem Reap (REP) in Cambodia, Vientiane (VTE) in Laos, Yangon (RGN) in Myanmar, and several cities in China such as Guangzhou (CAN), Guilin (KWL), Guiyang (KWE), Haikou (HAK), Hong Kong (HKG), Kunming (KMJ), Macau (MFM), Nanning (NNG), Sanya (SYX), and Shenzhen (SZX).

It also serves Bangkok (BKK) and Chiang Mai (CNX) in Thailand, Chennai (MAA), Kolkata (CCU), Cochin (COK), Trichy (TRZ), and now Mumbai (BOM) in India, Manila (MNL), Clark (CRK), and Davao (DVO) in the Philippines, Colombo (CMB) in Sri Lanka, and Saigon (SGN) and Hanoi (HAN) in Vietnam.
