Continental Carriers, AISATS sign MoU for NIA export transfers

The process is intended to support coordination, regulatory compliance, and timely handover to airlines for onwards international dispatch.

Continental Carriers (CCPL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Air India SATS Airport Services (AISATS) to facilitate the secure transfer of customs-compliant export transshipment cargo from its Air Freight Station in Kapashera, New Delhi, to the AISATS Integrated Cargo Terminal at Noida International Airport (NIA), Jewar. The agreement was signed on February 20, 2026.

The MoU was signed by Vaibhav Vohra, Managing Director, Continental Carriers, and Ramanathan Rajamani, CEO, AISATS. The signing took place in the presence of Vipin Vohra, Chairman, Continental Carriers, Viraj Vohra, Director, Continental Carriers, Christoph Schnellmann, CEO, Noida International Airport, and Kiran Jain, COO, Noida International Airport.

Under the agreement, customs-cleared export transshipment cargo will be transferred via bonded trucking from CCPL’s Air Freight Station to the AISATS Multi Modal Cargo Hub at Noida International Airport. The process is intended to support coordination, regulatory compliance, and timely handover to airlines for onwards international dispatch.

The collaboration is designed to strengthen export connectivity through Noida International Airport by providing exporters with a streamlined cargo movement process. The companies stated that the arrangement will facilitate secure, compliant, and efficient export transshipment operations through the integrated cargo terminal at the airport.

AISATS said the agreement marks a milestone in advancing an integrated logistics ecosystem and strengthening the global competitiveness of India’s export community through improved cargo handling and transfer processes.
