Air cargo capacity drops 2%, yields up 1.6% in Oct last week: WorldACD

November 7, 2020: As per World Air Cargo Data (WorldACD), on the week ended on Sunday, November 1, 2020 (wk 44), global chargeable weight decreased by 1 percent compared with the week earlier (wk 43) while capacity was down by 2 percent and yield/rate increased for the third week in a row from $3.02 to $3.06 per kilogramme.

November 7, 2020: As per World Air Cargo Data (WorldACD), on the week ended on Sunday, November 1, 2020 (wk 44), global chargeable weight decreased by 1 percent compared with the week earlier (wk 43) while capacity was down by 2 percent and yield/rate increased for the third week in a row from $3.02 to $3.06 per kilogramme.

Asia Pacific was the only origin region with a slight increase in chargeable weight (+1%). The only increase in capacity came from the Middle East & South Asia (+1%), with the largest decrease from North America (-4%).
