Aegis Logistics reports 32% profit growth to ₹78 cr for Oct-Dec 2020

In terms of verticals, the liquid terminal division actually saw a boost in revenues.

January 30, 2021: Aegis Logistics reported 28.73 percent fall in total revenues on consolidated basis at ₹1545.53 crore and 32.04 percent increase in profit after tax (PAT) for the October–December 2020 quarter.

In terms of verticals, the liquid terminal division actually saw a boost in revenues. However, the much larger gas terminal division saw a fall of nearly 30 percent in revenues on account of the global slowdown and also the local shutdown.

“The consolidated Profit after tax (PAT) was up 32.04 percent at ₹78.21cr on better operational performance as the sharp fall in purchase of stock-in-trade resulted in operating costs falling by nearly 30 percent. PAT margins also improved from 2.73 percent in Dec-19 to 5.06 percent in Dec-20,” reports Indiainfoline.
