Indicold raising fresh capital with angel round; 50% already subscribed
With 20,000 automated pallets and an equal number in traditional infrastructure, Indicold is planning for 3x year-on-year growth and 1.2 million pallets capacity by 2028.

The Indian cold chain solutions company Indicold is raising an angel round to accelerate its growth in environment-controlled logistics. Over 50% of the round has already been subscribed, led by Nikhil Vora, Founder & CEO, Sixth Sense Ventures.
“Following the Pre-Series A raise led by Fundalogical Ventures, this angel round will propel Indicold's growth in automation, warehousing expansion, and next-generation tech-enabled cold chain solutions,” reads the release.
Nikhil Vora, Founder & CEO, Sixth Sense Ventures, states – “The investment in Indicold, a tech-enabled cold storage solutions company, is reflective of a strategic alignment with India's evolving supply chain needs—for perishable goods like fruits, vegetables, ice cream and pharmaceuticals. I have always looked at backing visionary founders (Niharika & Kartik) and scalable business models – Indicold fits that bill completely. I am impressed with the rapid growth, innovative approach, and commitment to addressing critical challenges in India's cold chain infrastructure along with Indicold’s initiatives such as setting up India's first frozen Automatic Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) Warehouse in Gujarat, demonstrate its commitment to revolutionizing the cold storage industry. I am elated to partner with Niharika and Kartik on Indicold's journey and be part of its growth."
Founded in 2019 by Kartik Jalan and Niharika Jalan, Indicold has partnered with India’s leading names across food, FMCG, dairy, quick commerce, and QSR. With 20,000 automated pallets and an equal number in traditional infrastructure, Indicold is planning for 3x year-on-year growth and 1.2 million pallets capacity by 2028.
“The immense potential of the cold chain industry truly excites us, as India's market is poised to reach $21.5 billion by 2026. We at Indicold are thrilled to welcome Nikhil Vora to partner on our journey. His strategic insight will maximize our growth in pioneering sustainable, tech-driven environment-controlled logistics. As we scale, we remain rooted in the belief that building with care isn't just a value — it's the only way to create lasting impact” said Kartik Jalan, Founder & CEO, Indicold.
