November 1, 2019: Southern Railway of Indian Railways today announced an all-time record increase of automobile traffic to 114 percent in October 2019 compared to last year. The railway’s twitter handle owes it to the close monitoring amidst slowdown in the economy and various sectors. In October 2019 southern railway loaded 45 automobile rakes with earnings of Rs10.81 crore.
