Sanjeev Ranjan IAS appointed as new secretary for ministry of shipping
April 29, 2020: After the approval of appointments committee of the cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Sanjeev Ranjan IAS was appointed as the new secretary in the ministry of shipping.

April 29, 2020: After the approval of appointments committee of the cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Sanjeev Ranjan IAS was appointed as the new secretary in the ministry of shipping.
The current secretary to the ministry of shipping, Gopal Krishna IAS will be retiring from his post on April 30, 2020.
Sanjeev Ranjan is a 1985 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Tripura cadre, currently serving as secretary for the ministry of road transport and highways.
