Texmaco Rail & Engineering in a regulatory filing on December 15, 2025 announced that it has bagged a ₹132 crore order from Touax Texmaco Railcar Leasing, a domestic joint venture promoted by the company.
This contract involves the supply of a full rake consisting of BLSS wagons, specialised bogie low-platform spine cars designed for intermodal container transport, and BVCM wagons, which are bogie brake vans modified for increased durability in freight operations.
The order, excluding taxes, is scheduled for execution in multiple tranches with a final completion deadline of July 2026. As Texmaco is a promoter of the joint venture, the transaction has been classified as a related party transaction.
However, the company noted that the deal was awarded on an arm's length basis in the normal course of business, ensuring proper corporate governance and no conflict of interest while providing steady revenue visibility for the next 18 months.
This announcement follows another win disclosed just last week, Texmaco Rail & Engineering secured a ₹15.80 crore contract from JSW Energy (Utkal)under Regulation 30.
This domestic order focuses on the supply of BOBRN wagons (Bottom Open Box Rapid discharge) and brake vans. BOBRN wagons are highly efficient hopper cars predominantly used for the rapid transport and automated unloading of coal in merry-go-round systems, making them essential for thermal power operations.
At 2:48 PM, shares of Texmaco Rail & Engineering on the National Stock Exchange saw a slight increase, rising by 0.20% to ₹127.10 per share.
